About this project
Restoration of a moss covered slate roof in town. The old covering had reached the end of its life, so it was stripped off, the timbers were checked, and the roof was reslated in dark new slate with terracotta ridge tiles and new leadwork at the chimney.

A clean sweep of new slate in place of moss and slipped courses, ready for another fifty Cornish winters.
